I am a wife and mother of two. I've had the opportunity to give birth to my two children in a traditional hospital setting. While both experiences were different, having a doula made a difference!

Birthing my two children ignited the desire to get into birth-work. My Breastfeeding journey was very difficult but rewarding. Determination, education and empowerment made this journey doable! I strongly believed having a community of mothers help encouraged me and allowed me to give back to mamas. This is what I, Nerlande's want to be for you and your family. This journey was never to be gone through alone!

I am passionate about empowering, educating and supporting women to be their optimal self and wholeness. I have over 4 years experience in counseling moms and families with breastfeeding and lactation needs. 

I believe in holistic techniques that aides in recovery and wholeness.

With a social worker backgrounds for the last eight years. I know that i would be able to apply those same skills to provide resources and education needed to the families I serve.

 

Aside from mommy-ing, I enjoy crafting, reading, traveling and cooking.
